Notarial Fees

$5 per notarized signature (Missouri statutory maximum).

Missouri absentee ballot notarizations are performed without a notarial fee.

Mobile Travel Fees

Springfield city limits: $20

Within 20 miles of Springfield: $35

Beyond 20 miles: $0.72 per mile, round trip

50% travel deposit required for appointments outside Springfield.

After-Hours Surcharge

6:00–8:00 a.m.: +$15

5:00–8:00 p.m.: +$20

8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.: +$50

12:00–6:00 a.m.: +$85

Weekend Surcharge

Saturday and Sunday appointments: +$25

This weekend service charge is added to all other applicable fees, including travel and any applicable after-hours surcharge. Your total will be disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment is confirmed.

Important appointment policies

All fees are agreed upon in advance, before appointment confirmation. Travel and after-hours charges are separate from statutory notarial fees and are not required by Missouri law.
A current, valid, government-issued photo ID is required.
Signers must appear personally and be willing and aware.
Documents must be complete before notarization.
Travel deposits are non-refundable once travel has begun.
Refunds apply only if cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of Foundation Business Solutions.
